MOTHERBOARD
2026 · Interactive Installation · Sound · Performance · Creative Technology
MOTHERBOARD is a responsive installation and performance work exploring Black memory, family archive, femme care, technology, and ritual. Built as an interactive shrine, the project uses sound, projected imagery, sensors, and archival materials to create an intimate encounter between the visitor, the machine, and generations of recorded memory.
As viewers approach the installation, proximity activates shifting layers of audio and visual material. Family voices, music, images, and environmental sound transform the machine into a living archive—one that listens, responds, and invites the audience into a space of reflection, care, and participation.
The project asks what technology might become if it were developed through tenderness rather than extraction. MOTHERBOARD considers the machine not as a cold instrument, but as a vessel capable of holding memory, grief, protection, and ancestral presence.

ROTA FORTUNAE
2025–2026 · Experimental Opera · Composition · Performance · Projection
Rota Fortunae is a one-woman experimental opera exploring fate, power, labor, survival, and the instability of fortune. Set within the visual world of an indoor swap meet, the work follows a woman moving through cycles of desire, collapse, reinvention, and spiritual confrontation.
The score brings together house music, classical composition, gospel harmony, hip-hop, electronic sound, and spoken language. These musical forms shift between intimacy and spectacle, creating a world where the sacred, theatrical, and everyday exist beside one another.
Through voice, movement, projected text, archival imagery, and immersive sound, the opera asks what happens when a person is repeatedly placed at the mercy of systems beyond their control. The work draws from the medieval image of the wheel of fortune while grounding that idea in contemporary Black life, commerce, performance, and resilience.
Rota Fortunae treats fortune not as a fixed destination, but as a force that is constantly turning—raising, abandoning, and remaking the people caught within it.

DIGITAL EXPERIMENTS
2025–2026 · Creative Coding · Interactive Media · Web-Based Art
Digital Experiments is an evolving collection of browser-based artworks, interactive environments, visual studies, and coded interfaces. These projects explore how sound, movement, image, memory, and user interaction can be translated into digital experiences.
Using creative coding as both a design tool and an artistic medium, the works invite visitors to move through responsive worlds rather than passively observe them. Cursor movement, touch, sound activation, scrolling, and screen-based gestures become part of each composition.
The collection reflects an ongoing interest in technology as a space for cultural preservation, emotional communication, experimentation, and care. Rather than treating the screen as a neutral surface, these works approach the browser as a stage, instrument, archive, and responsive environment.
ARTISTIC APPROACH
These experiments begin with a question: how can code hold memory, sound, spirituality, and embodied experience?
Each project combines visual storytelling with interaction, allowing the audience to affect the pace, appearance, sound, or structure of the work. The process brings together artistic direction, composition, interface design, creative coding, and digital world-building.

FEATURED PROJECT
MEDCODE: SOUND AS MEDICINE
2026 · Interactive Web Experience · Sound Art · Creative Coding
MEDCODE is an interactive browser-based artwork exploring sound as a form of medicine, presence, and revelation. Through responsive code, image, movement, and audio, the work considers how frequency can affect the body, guide attention, and reach places where language cannot.
Visitors interact with the environment through their cursor or touchscreen. Movement changes the pace of the experience, while gestures across the interface dissolve layers of code and reveal imagery beneath the surface. Sound can be activated or paused, making the visitor’s attention and physical interaction part of the composition.
INTERACTION
Move your cursor to affect the experience. Click or tap to activate the sound. Swipe across the code to reveal the image underneath. Depending on placement of cursor revels a different speed of playback. Enjoy!
